Andrea Lawson
Director/Solicitor
Andrea was admitted as a solicitor and joined the firm in 2012. She holds a Diploma in Business (Human Resources), Bachelor of Education and Juris Doctor Degree.
Prior to her career as a solicitor Andrea was a Senior Manager in the securities industry, a Human Resources Manager and Teacher.
Andrea specialises in probate and Wills as well as property law, including commercial leasing, sale of business, and conveyancing.
Emma Woods
Solicitor
Emma was admitted as a solicitor in 2025.
Prior to her career as a solicitor Emma has worked as a paralegal and as a graduate at law in Wills and Estate Planning while completing her Practical Legal Training. She has worked in the tertiary academic sector internationally and domestically teaching business law. Emma holds a Juris Doctor, a Masters degree in International Law and International Relations and a Bachelor of Business.
Emma is looking forward to expanding her experience in practice areas such as conveyancing and property law.
Alex Zuur
Consultant Solicitor
Alex became a solicitor in 1976. From that time, he has worked in both government and private sectors.
Alex has worked in Insurance, Fair Trading, Employment Law and Media Law over the last 30+ years. He has undertaken work in the property sector, Probate and Succession Law (including contested Estates), as well as general litigation and advisory work in the commercial field, concentrating on small to medium businesses.
Gabrielle Thomas
Legal Secretary/Assistant
Gabrielle has had over 40 years experience working in the legal profession covering a wide range of areas including conveyancing, leasing, Wills, estates, litigation and family law.
Gabrielle has worked with the firm since 1993.
Rula Grant
Legal Secretary/Assistant
Legal support, Rula has worked for various legal practices and has over 30 years of legal experience covering the areas of conveyancing, Wills and estates.
Rula has been employed by the firm since March 2016 as support to Alex Zuur and Andrea Lawson.
Tania Papandrea
Legal Secretary/Assistant
Legal support, Tania has over 30 years of legal experience on the Northern Beaches. Her experience includes the areas of property/conveyancing, Wills and estates. Tania, with her cheerful disposition is the first point of contact for most of our clients.
Lisa Tyrrell
Office Manager
Lisa has over 15 years of experience in bookkeeping and office management across a range of businesses on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. She has specialised in bookkeeping for companies within the financial and manufacturing sectors, bringing strong attention to detail, organisational expertise, and a practical understanding of business operations.
